Will it really last the whole night?

After a full day of direct sunlight, the lamp is designed to provide up to 12 hours of lighting. Actual runtime depends on how much sun the panel received, which mode you selected, and how often the motion sensor activates. Motion-Only mode uses the least battery because the light only turns on when there is movement.

Will it work during the rainy season?

Yes. The housing is IP65-rated, so it handles rain, humidity, and everyday outdoor exposure. What does change in rainy weather is charging — like all solar products, several cloudy days in a row means less stored energy and shorter runtime. Placing it where it gets the most direct sun makes a real difference.

How far can it detect movement?

Approximately 8 to 10 meters, across a wide 120° area. The exact range depends on your installation height and what surrounds the lamp. In Dim-to-Bright and Motion-Only modes, the light returns to dim or off about 15 seconds after the movement stops.

Does it stay on even when nobody passes by?

That depends on the mode you choose. Steady Light keeps a soft light on all night. Dim-to-Bright keeps a soft light on and brightens when someone approaches. Motion-Only stays off until it detects movement, which is the most battery-efficient option.

Why is my lamp not turning on when I test it?

This is the most common question we get, and the lamp is almost always working fine. It has a built-in daylight sensor that prevents the light from turning on in bright surroundings. To test it during the day, cover the solar panel completely with your hand or a cloth. Otherwise, just wait until after dark. We also recommend charging it outdoors before first use.

Can I use adhesive tape instead of screws?

We recommend screws. Adhesive weakens over time from heat, moisture, dust, and textured wall surfaces, and an outdoor lamp that falls is a lamp you have to replace. The included mounting hardware is designed for long-term outdoor use.

What are the three lighting modes?

1. Steady Light Mode: Stays continuously lit at night and turns off automatically during the day.

2. Dim-to-Bright Motion Mode: Remains dim after dark, switches to full brightness when motion is detected, then returns to dim after approximately 15 seconds.

3. Motion-Only Mode: Remains off to conserve battery, switches to full brightness when motion is detected, then turns off after approximately 15 seconds.
